Visitor Monitoring Software that can notify you about Expired Badges

Friday, February 5, 2010 by John Murzycki

One of the visitor management solutions available from EasyLobby is one that allows you to be notified about expired badges.

When visitors are checked in by EasyLobby's visitor management system, the lobby attendant is able to specify a length of time that the visitor's badge is valid.

When that "valid to" time has expired and the visitor has not yet checked out, you have the option of receiving an email alert to notify you the badge has expired. The employee meeting with the visitor can also be notified.

It's easy to set this program option in our visitor registration software. Go to the Program Options screen, click on the Email Alerts tab, and then the Expired Badges Alert tab. Complete the various screens, including adding customized wording on the email message.

Organizations that practice positive visitor management techniques to improve visitor security will know exactly who is in their facilities at all times, what their purpose is, and whether their stay has extended beyond the time that was expected.

You can use the Expired Badge Alert in the EasyLobby visitor registration system to receive notifications about changing situations which will allow you to investigate the reasons why a visitor has extended a stay beyond expectations.

It's one of the features that allow you to be properly managing visitors at all times.

To learn more about the Alerts feature, as well as the many other features of our secure visitor management, register for a free, no-obligation online web conference.

In about 30 minutes we will highlight the visitor management techniques that are best for your environment.
