
Industry publication SDM Magazine highlighted an EasyLobby customer success in its June 2010 issue.
One Gateway Center, a 30-story office high -rise in Newark, N.J., uses EasyLobby visitor registration software in its lobby.
The publication reported, "The greatest efficiencies came in Phase Three, when a visitor management system from EasyLobby was installed.
The article states, "The new visitor control software also offers a higher level of assurance that visitors will not re-enter the premises at a future date without checking in again, as visitor ID badges are programmed to automatically expire after a certain number of hours."
EasyLobby's visitor registration system is also used in the parking garage where "a security guard can scan visitors' credentials and print out a bar code badge using a wireless handheld device that has a built-in scanner."
The visitor monitoring software and the access control systems at One Gateway Center were installed with EasyLobby partner Engineered Security Systems of Towaco, N.J.
The next phase of the installation will include the addition of EasyLobby's eAdvance™ software which will allow employees to pre-register guests, saving additional guard time by eliminated the need for the guard to call the person the visitor is coming to see.
