EasyLobby Visitor Registration Software can Alert Employees of an Arriving Visitor

Friday, July 9, 2010 by John Murzycki

EasyLobby's visitor registration system can automatically notify employees when their visitor has arrived in the lobby.

This feature is one of several alerts that you can easily incorporate into your visitor management techniques as one of the program options.

When the new visitor alert feature is activated in the EasyLobby visitor monitoring software, employees automatically receive an email or text message alerting them that a visitor is waiting for them in the lobby.

This process helps simplify managing visitors to your lobby by alleviating the need for the lobby attendant to always call the employee to notify them of an arriving visitor. The phone call can now be used as a backup in case the employee did not respond to the email or text message.

To set this program option in our visitor management system, simply go to the Program Options screen, click on the Email Alerts tab, and the Visitor Check In. You can then customize the text message that's sent to the employees.
